"You must seek to be uncommon amongst uncommon people." Now this is a quote from retired Navy Seal, David Goggins. I just read his book recently and he talks about this principle and I want you to think about this, okay?
Who are the closest five people around you? Are those people absolutely crushing it, are they on a whole nother level that you are not even close to yet? Probably not and that's okay because, you know, I went through this as well not too long ago and even to this day I'm still seeking those uncommon people, meaning those people that are absolutely crushing it and what I want to do. Right? Because when you surround yourself with uncommon people, meaning people that are willing to take big risks, people that are doing stuff that everyone else isn't, right? People that are going against the grain and you seek to be uncommon amongst those people? Then you'll notice that you will level up. Then you notice you start to reach these higher potentials for yourself.
And when you benchmark yourself with people that are just average and are maybe on the same level as you, you'll notice that you'll reach a plateau. So you must always seek to be uncommon amongst uncommon people.
